Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech), a technical-vocational (tech-voc) institution that offers excellent automotive training, conducted a 2-day customized short course focusing on hybrid and electric vehicles for ten (10) AAP mechanics on May 20 and 27, 2023. As AAP is the largest and oldest auto club in the Philippines, this training demonstrates their commitment to staying up to date with industry advancements, ensuring their members receive optimal service that offers exclusive motoring privileges and lifestyle benefits.
The 2-day customized short course covered competencies focusing on Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Power Steering (EPS), Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission (ECT) and/or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and Hybrid systems. The course also covered the Identification and Rectification of Warning Lights, and Basic Servicing of Common Problems (Service Points). This diverse and specialized training equips the mechanics with the necessary skills to handle modern vehicles and their advanced systems.
TMP Tech provides a range of short courses under the enhanced Capsulized Auto Repair Series (CARS). These courses cater to car enthusiasts and individuals interested in acquiring foundational knowledge in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
